Thanks for the review. i didn't read your entire review but i liked the way you wrote about the problems you have with the first video (after the movie trailer). i'd much rather listen to a nice melody over the inane singing that opens the movie.
Good review, though I found the change from a musical number to a song about her dad somewhat distracting. I'm a huge ABBA fan, and I do like the idea that they had to shake things up to keep the record label happy.
What i don't understand is why the change is considered a flaw? A change to something you are a big fan of? It's just like when movies change genres mid-stream and it's a big enough issue to cause everyone to moan.
I hate the transition between the song and the movie. I think it's confusing to an audience that wants to see the movie. It should be set up so that there are no expectations of what the movie will be like at the beginning of the first part. I have to listen to the song again before watching the movie...
The story was okay. It was very predictable and a little bit boring at times. The film was very bland and uninteresting. There wasn't a single scene that could be considered memorable. As a matter of fact, the only character I cared for was the guy who owned the cafe. And it was only because he was "shy" in the beginning.
They should've made the movie really talk about Deepika and nothing else. Everything about it should've been related to her character and the plot should've been about her. I'm so sick of all these actors trying to act even when they are not acting.
I liked her singing. I don't think I will watch this again.
Dada pat was an okay film but I do not think anyone would enjoy it.
This one is not a comedy and don't expect one in the first 10 minutes.
1. There is no English language test. Have you ever sat through an international test where you'd be facing a national paper. You would soon realize that this is some kind of a joke.
2. Many of the people here would get confused trying to understand the language as well. It's very hard to decipher which language is being spoken at times and the translation would be very poor to begin with.
